Walking alongside families to create an authentic and personal funeral is a privilege. For family members, it can be a daunting process to organise the funeral - or, with time and conversation, a personal and beautiful farewell can unfold.
There are many decisions to be made and families can feel under pressure to have the funeral within a few days. Take your time, there is no rush: it is a far healthier outcome when you are supported in creating an authentic ceremony that is truly reflective of the one you love.
Did you know a funeral does not need to be held in a crematorium chapel? You may like to consider a more personal location that reflects your loved one’s lifestyle or hobby. Funerals can be held in beautiful locations all over Sydney - at a local park or beach (with council approval) or you may like to hire a community hall, the local surf club or golf club, or have the funeral at home. Whatever feels genuine.
Let’s meet for a cup of tea, so we can hear stories and memories to bring together the tapestry of their life. As their biography unfolds a theme develops to shape a beautiful and authentic farewell. We can weave in the participation of family and friends to create something fabulous - not only can this be expressed through words, but honouring the person through music, singing, photos and literature, through symbols or messages can also enhance this sacred rite of passage, to bring a more positive, meaningful and enriching experience for everyone.

Kathryn was amazing from the beginning of our journey of navigating the approaching end of our Mums amazing life.. She came and spent time with us for several months before her passing and made a difficult and harrowing process so much easier. and heartfelt. The celebration of life afterwards truly reflected the incredible woman we were saying goodbye to. Kathryn is overwhelmingly kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable.
